Thank goodness for the Dutch license, my question is why can't the other channels do what Babestation do and try and apply for a Dutch license to??

RLC/Playboy don't have to get a Dutch licence in order to do 2-4-1's , 2-4-1's are allowed on channels with a Ofcom licence , if they weren't allowed BS wouldn't be doing them on BS1 freeview Ch 94 , this channel the channel BS does naked and oily full contact 2-4-1s on is Ofcom regulated and doesn't have the Dutch adult licence .

Where has it been "gone into"? I know of no Ofcom rules that prohibit it and, in any case, the last time I heard anything about the BS licences, BS1 and BSXtra each had Dutch on one platform and Ofcom on the other (but opposite ways round - one had Dutch Sky/Ofcom FV and the other had Ofcom Sky/Dutch FV).

Yes that's right vila , BS1 on Sky Ch 906 has the Dutch licence and BS1 Ch 94 on freeview has the Ofcom licence , the same goes for BS Xtra , BS Xtra on Sky Ch 910 has the Ofcom licence and BS Xtra on freeview Ch 95 has the Dutch licence . The only time BS1 is not regulated by Ofcom is the hours between 11pm and 11.30pm when BS1 broadcasts on freeview Ch 96 with the Dutch licence and also transmits the same feed as the BS1 Sky with the Dutch licence . IF BS can do 2-4-1s on channels that are Ofcom regulated other channels must be able to do them . RLC/Playboy are just playing safe at present because of past Ofcom troubles and are not allowing them .

And the only purpose for which they use that time slot is advertising Xtreme!

I guess the question is how long will we have to wait for some 241 action from RLC/Playboy? I mean it seems Babestation are even being allowed the Hand Thong now, which is great news for them and us. I remember the early stages of Redlight it was Hand Thongs Galore especially with Lucy summers. Oh well I guess time will tell.

this is what playboy say about the hand thong "stopping presenters cupping their genitals until they have further clarity on the issue", i guess they are still waiting for that clarity to arrive

Very true Winsaw.

They will be doing them when they get clearance i'm sure but they will respect the rules.

And when will that be? 2012, 2013, 2014....

The problem is no one really knows the shifting state of Ofcom's made up as they go along rules except themselves it seems. But the channels only definitely find out when they're suddenly hit with a breach or fine.
