it isnt binding because it was an opposition bill the goverment has to bring a bill forward and then it has to be voted on.

its up to goverment to put forward a coherenet plan and not a few lines on a back of a fag packet if they want article 50 to be triggered by end of march

how many of these MP's who voted against this were from constiuencys where a vast majority of the voters who voted them in voted to remain. if they did then the MP has to vote against in democracy an MP should vote the way his constiuents would

Thats why Zach goldsmith lost his seat the other week he was a rabid brexiteer in a constituency where nearly 70% voted remain

It does show that if the vote went to parliament then the vote would be to trigger article 50, perry sure some plan will already be in place, it's just details.

I suspect the timing of this vote is no co incident, it's basically telling the Judges that the MP's will abide by the public vote any way - therefore don't waste time and allow the royal perogative.

And language.

We've had a Parliament for over 600 years and they still don't know who's in charge.

If you were paying attention you'd have noticed that parliament voted in the opposite way to what you suggest. They voted that Parliament DID HAVE responsibility to properly scrutinise the government over Brexit and that it SHOULD NOT be a matter of royal prerogative.
