Jack The Giant Slayer 6/10

A Good Day to Die Hard 7/10 Probably the weakest of the 5 movies. Still pretty enjoyable with some good action scenes.

Red Dawn (1984 version) 7/10 Holds up well if you fool yourself that the Cubans supported by Soviet armed forces would have been successfully capable of invading the mainland US. Enjoyable film none the less, starring a young Patrick Swayze , Charlie Sheen and C. Thomas Howell among others.

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance 6/10

The Family - 5/10 - Better than expected (apart from one giant fuck off co-incidence accounting for half the plot). Give it a go if you're looking for some easy watching

Rush - 8/10 - Brilliant stuff. I'm an F1 fan but not ingrained enough to pick fault with its portrayal of history, I thought this was just excellent

Killer Joe 7/10 very good thriller with touches of black comedy.

Olympus Has Fallen, this is what the modern Die Hard Films should have been 9/10.

American Pie - 8/10.

The Hunger Games. I had always steered clear of this but having recently joined Netflix decided to give it a go. Have to say quite enjoyable and similar in many ways to both the 70's sci fi movie, Logans Run and the 80's Running Man. 7/10

American Hustle - 6/10 - It's OK but I don't think it deserves the critic bukkake session its getting. Really had me hooked for the first hour but just went on a lil bit too much. Amy Adams looks good in it

Lone Survivor - 8/10 - I'm only 1hr20 in to this (run time 2hrs) but I'm loving it so far. True story of a Navy Seals op that went wrong in Afghanistan. Think this will go in my collection alongside Black Hawk Down quite nicely to annoy the neighbors with on a regular basis lol
