If there's a conflict of interest within his law firm he really had no choice but to withdraw from the case.

Well I just thought of one possitive side to all this. At least all those video's that have been nicked off this forum and posted elsewhere won't work either.

I bet this place will be busy again, as they all clamour to nick the new links.

For those that upload videos here, How long do you keep the videos on your computer/external drives? For guys like quiquems, aceman and the others whove been here so long you must have gigs upon gigs of content. Thinking of all the "Golden Era" Danica vids I didnt download makes my head hurt Is there a chance you guys still have some of those vids? Im obviously not asking for reups now, but it'll be nice to know those vids arent lost forever.

I still have around 20 of Cara's daytime vids from last year when she was on a roll with her bikinis/slips etc. I dont intend on deleting them anytime soon should someone request it in the future.

I'm one of the fortunate few perhaps, but I do have every single file I've ever uploaded to this forum. OK, some I've had to re-download when I've had disk failures, but I'm pretty certain that 1.6TB seems about right

I have about 85% of all my video's posted (roughly 2300) The 15% I'm missing, is from the middle period (around October - Christmas 2010) due to a crashed hard drive. I never did get around to backing all of those up off MegaUpload. As who would of thought this would happen.

But of course I still have about the same amount again, that I have never posted.

I see that the FBI are saying that they no longer have access to the Megaupload servers and therefore nobody should contact the FBI with any queries relating to legitimate files. They have finished searching the servers and have copied some of the data but not deleted anything and having finished searching they have returned the servers to the webhosts. The FBI say they have not taken, damaged or destroyed anybody's property.

Phew that's a relief. All my Fred Dibnah videos are on those servers, including the one of him driving his 1912 Aveling Porter at the Pickering Traction Engine Rally.

^^^^ Well that's it then. It's guaranteed you will not get them back then. As the FBI will have passed them onto Homeland Security because they contain someone using explosives.

Yes, but last I heard it was likely that the server owners would delete the content as they are not being paid by megaupload anymore, so have no reason to maintain all these servers and drives.
