Last film you watched

Serenity - 10/10. Still love it, a must own for any Firefly fan. Nathan Fillion is of course brilliant, but Summer Glau steals the show.

Watched Man Of Steel finally yesterday, very slow but looked/sounded great. Worth watching just to see stuff getting destroyed lol

Apollo 13 (1995)

Another movie which never gets tiresome to watch. Guaranteed to have you hooked as if you were living the astronaut's plight in the spacecraft with them. Even the coldest heart will be praying for the crew at the end - even though we already know what happens. Great film. 5/5

The Rock (1996)

Good premise at first, with potential for a good story, but sadly it starts to unravel very badly with about an hour to go and ends up being overlong. Plenty of bangs and crashes for action fans, the usual hallmarks of a Michael Bay film. But Sean Connery's over use of the F word and Nicolas Cage's unnecessary and unsuited bluster gets really tiring. Shame - could have been much better. 2/5

Rambo: First Blood Part II, another classic film with Rambo kicking ass and taking names lol 8.9/10.

Bad Grandpa

Just got back from seeing this, and it's a total riot, I'm still chuckling to myself, Johnny Knoxville is terrific as the sex fuelled grandpa who unwittingly gets landed with having to look after his grandson played by Jackson Nicoll and they have a whale of a time as he makes the journey to re-unite him with his drug peddling father.

Two standout scene's in a restaurant and at a hen party will have you doubled-up with laughter. If you love gross lewd laugh-out loud comedy, then this is a must see. Great outtakes at the end too. 9/10

Watching R.I.P.D. as I type this, its only 1hr35 long but can give it a shoulder shrugging 'meh' so far. Maybe I'll try The Bling Ring next

The Wee Man

Based on true events depicting the rise of Glasgow gangster Paul Ferris.
Violence,Corruption & Murder,this was an alright watch.
