You're terribly forgiving of the Katie Vick storyline, the costume changes to contradict his "bodily scarred by fire" premise, the loss of the mask, etc

He was "just another guy" long before he was teamed with Daniel Bryan.

And I suspect the chance to work with Bryan meant he was all for it, regardless of whatever character defects, since he had previously claimed Angle as his favourite wrestler to work with.

Yes i remember all those things, but I have said before he should not have taken the mask off, unless he was going to be given another character.
