No, that's just the way you want to read it. I had not so much interest in the leave camp because nobody knows, it could be great, it's not force to be, I said this a few times.

Quote:Its a fact that there has been an increase in hate crimes since the vote. It's not unreasonable that some immigrants are therefore concerned.

Is there a REAL increase? or more crimes that were already there but are now the leave are blamed for them. Seems the remain camp have a very heavy influence on the media and they are desperately grasping anything, including the race card, to try and over turn a demographic decision. If what I saw on the BBC today was supposed to be unbias I'll take it with a pinch of salt.

Quote:Oh and its the young people that I have seen complaining about there futures being stolen. No idea if the ones complaining voted or not and I guess you have no idea either.

According to reports, something like 2 thirds of older people voted and a as low as 3rd young did, becasue if it was equal, then young people voted out also.

Aparantly, this also is everybody else fault but the young as well

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/07/...oting-sys/

They should have not been trouble to go to a polling station or a post box but merely should been able to take a moments break from the xbox.

If that's their attitude it's a good job they didn't voet.

Surfice to say, if ALL these young people had bothered to vote then the out come could have been different, so stop fucking whining young people you had your chance you missed it, and have a bit more gratitude for what the old have REALLY done for you, you never know, even this might be good for you. annoyed

Nato provides security in Europe (UK being a full time member), the EU has nothing much to do with it, that twoddle was shot down early on.

I think there's a massive difference between people who DID fight in ww2 or their parents did which touch directly every family in the country, rather than a few 18 - 30 (IF they pay attention to the news) watching a news report from a far off distant land that will only affect them if they have somebody in the military in their family. You are offensively off there fella. That's like compairing the refugee camps to concentration camps. There again, my mum was born in the war so it's probably closer to me.

Quote:Swore ive seen some stats that More over 85's voted for remain than 65-85 year olds maybe its because they had actually been in the war and wanted to see a peace and sucessful europe for there younger relatives

Have you ever considered that these old people have experiance of living in the UK both in and out of the EU? and yet, despite the post war austerity they think it is better. Have you ever stop to think why are they voting that way if being in the EU is so obviously great.

Sorry but you are way off mate. Only the youth of today have only seen wars on the TV. so we have not been at war since 1945 then have we ??

we have been at almost constant war since 1990 mate Gulf War 1, Bosnia Kosovo , Gulf War II, Afghanistan and with Trump in power wont be long before we will be doing another one. What about the Kids of servicemen and women who served and died dont there opinions count as much

like i was trying to say just because the over 70's voted doesnt mean that there opinions count any more than the votes of the service people or there kids just because they went thru a war on the home front because families for the last 10-20 years have been thru the same thing not knowing if there loved ones will come back worried sick about that knock on the door. or picking up the peices when they come back traumatised

The right thing to do, in that case, was to vote and spoil the ballot paper. Nobody looking at a list of people who didn't vote is going to be able to differentiate between you and the people you just criticised for not being arsed.

One of the few good laughs to be had last weekend was watching Leave supporters slagging off the "Biased Broadcasting Corporation" for its anti-Brexit agenda. I must have missed that, they were pretty nakedly pro-Brexit whenever I tuned in. Maybe there was a special anti-Brexit episode of Teletubbies or something? bladewave

Surely Intentionally spoiling the ballot is the same as not voting? Just a long winded way about it? laugh

But I see your point since.....

Time to come out the leavers closet and earn some respect wackawoo, perhaps some of the decent points you've made will be accepted and taken seriously Smile

I'm afraid I would have to agree with Hannahspet Wackawoo Our troops involvement since 1990's is extensive and those who served know how they affected by the horrors of war than the average, probably way more man on the street realises. I think if Trunp wants us to get involved again he's got another thing coming.
If anything if he does build that wall (to stop Mexicans illegally entering US), I would not be surprised he'll be asking us to provide security as they probably won't have enough troops to guard it, if he ends up committing US troops fighting battles some place

Spoilt papers are counted, and the number is announced by the returning officer. So you have had your say.
I'm not saying the politicians pay much attention to spoilt papers but they pay even less to people who can't be arsed to vote (or don't have the balls to put their vote where their mouth is)
