None of my freeview boxes or PVRs are in sync with each other. All of them lag a second or so behind the analogue terrestial tv signal. I assume its due to having to decode and process the digital signal and applying error correction where needed, which takes time.

Slightly off topic but I've seen a home Six Nations game and the British Grand Prix transmitted from a European satellite at least 3 seconds before I can see it on Sky!
