Bryan Singer has said that the time frames for X-Men; Days of Future Past is that its 10 years after X-Men Origins and its 10 years or more after X-Men 3 so according to him its not really a sequel but a inbetwequel.
Singer revealed that in the 70's part of the film where we will find Charles Xavier and Magneto at the start of the film: “Charles is in a very dark hole when we meet him, and Erik has been gathering his power.”

now going to be 3 more avatar films, all of which will go into production and be shot simultaneously from next year. 1st one will be out in December 2016, the next one in December 2017 and the next one in December 2018
