I cannot recall a year where we had so many down to the wire second round matches.

^ It's been quality, the standard of play has been very high. I'm thinking the lack of a crowd has helped take the pressure off the qualifiers and lower ranked players, allowing them to perform better and make the games more competitive.

Anthony McGill and Jamie Clarke have had a bit of a ding dong at the Crucible today.
McGIll has accused Clarke of standing in his eye line when down on a shot. The referee had to step between them.

McGill seemed to rush off after Clarke at end of that frame.

Ronnie was on top form in his interview after beating Ding 13 - 10

When asked if he was surprised to still be at the top after more than a quarter of a century he said today's young players were so poor, he would have to lose an arm and a leg to be knocked out of the World's top 50.

I think he was talking tongue in cheek but that might get a few players backs up.

He also took a pop at Crawley as well.
