Everyone else may as well stopped training after week 3 because the series was over.
The whole thing as a competition was ruined. From that point on Jay was never in the dance off while all the other finalists were. Kellie did indeed deserve to win imo.
She performed best in the semi and the final while Jay was vastly overrated imo.
But it is all about popularity and Jay won the popularity contest.

Strictly must be the only competition where you can finish third on the night and win.

Agree with you both. The final is not a dance contest at all but a personality contest. The fact that you could vote at the beginning of the second half even before the final dances tells you that dance is only secondary. They need to find some way of including the judges' votes in the final so that the performances are important.

At the moment it's like the FA awarding the FA cup to one of the beaten semi-finalists at the end of the final.

Bit like Katherine Jenkins on Dancing With The Stars in the USA.
Reached the final, got 90/90 and still lost to............. an American Football player Donald Driver who scored much lower but because he was more well known in the USA and more popular as a result he won .

I hear Katherine Jenkins is great at the horizontal rhumba. Sadly my calls for private tuition in it from her go unheeded.
