Anyway NO court would EVER grant an an injunction in favour of someone because the other person was telling lies about them to try and damage the sportsman's reputation. If someone is telling lies about them then there is no damage to the sportman reputation because everyone knows whatever said about the sportsman was a lie and false and not true. So because it is a lie there would be no damage to their reputation, and so there would be no need for an injunction to be granted. An injunction is only granted if the story is true, to protect a sportsman's reputation because it is not in the public's interest to know about his personal life
