RE: Snooker
it isn't a good set up but if you are going to have 128 player draws in most tournaments as Barry Hearn wants, you will need all these tables in order to play all the matches

Anyway, Ding beat Judd 9-5 in the final for his 4th ranking title of the season, the first man since Hendry to do that.

RE: Snooker
Ding is having a very solid season despite not winning the UK or Masters titles he is consistently getting to the business end of most tournaments.
Needs to produce it at the Crucible now though.

Ronnie walloped John Higgins 5-1 in the Welsh Open this afternoon. At least there's some red button coverage this week.

Ronnie up against Barry Hawkins again this evening.
Should be a good match. Both men in decent form.
Ding Junhui awaits in the final after beating Joe Perry.

RE: Snooker
just watching the welsh open final and commentators are saying ronnie his picking and choosing which tournaments to play in. is he playing a dangerous game here cos if hes not playing much then surely he has got to drop down the rankings. unless he wins the tournament he enters then i guess he can return the following year to defend it.

have your own opinion, lead dont follow.

RE: Snooker
Ronnie O'Sullivan = GENIUS Big Grin.
Wins a ranking final with one of the best 147s I have ever seen to beat Ding Junhui 9-3.
The guy is simply awesome Big Grin.

They haven't really got much to stand on. Last year he picked & chose to the extent of playing 1 tournament, which he won. At least he's playing more this year. And the rankings don't mean a thing, he's got enough money to last him, I assume, wherever he is in the draw. A man who has nothing to lose is a man you can't really intimidate.

He was great in his semi-final, and taking a 7-1 lead after this afternoon is stunning power-play. Well done Big Grin

Ding came out tonight and knocked in a couple of centuries but Ronnie just reacted as though nothing had happened and rattled off a couple of 40+ breaks before his fabulous winning maximum.
Just watched it again on my Sky plus recording.
Absolutely magnificent Big Grin.

PTC Final in Preston finished with Barry Hawkins beating Gerard Greene 4-0. Oldies Rule! Tongue

Result of the week was probably relative unknown Yu Delu beating Ronnie O'Sullivan.
