just noticed tonights line up.2 half hour live shows and a mass of censored to the hilt repeats that ive already seen.no way im paying to tune into that.must admit ive not seen the so called weird and wonderful asian stuff.judging from peoples posts im wondering whether it would be more appropriate to show it on a f***ing science fiction channel than an x-rated adult night!!

it was indeed live, and it was a show ipure put on for Babestation. We had a live hardcore web show at 10pm-11pm, and then they produced a BabestationX show for us at 11.30pm (which was live)

If it was live then why were there no OSGs with phone numbers to text / call?
If it was live then how did they manage so many camera angle changes with no sign of any camera people (the ones that always wander into view in the real live shows)?

And whether it was live or not - why on earth did the people producing this shows for you not have ANY clue how explicit they were allowed to be? Aside from the fact there were two girls there, nothing was shown that needed to be on an encrypted channel. It was ALL suitable for free-to-air!

Babestations definition of "explicit" or "hardcore" will NOT be the same as ours, that's for sure.

It also won't be the same as the court's definition either - as I mentioned in the Ofcom thread a while ago, there was a case in 2001 where the owner of a sex shop was convicted under trades description legislation of claiming to be selling "hardcore" videos when they were tame softcore rubbish. I thought tonights show was average,good camera work but the return of bananas,cream and vegetables was a step backwards also seemed poor the most of the more intimate moments appeared to be faked,which was shame given that this was the first bsx produced proper length show for a couple of nights.

Surely everyone who frequents this forum understands that R18 material can't be shown on British TV, whether it be PlayBoy, Television X, or indeed Babestation X.
So the term explicit has to be read in that context.

For those that actually watched the shows last night, you're aware there was a good selection of different content, interaction, pussy shots including close-ups etc.
For those that just post negative posts in the hopes of stirring things up, why do you bother ? Like all things, if you don't like it then go and do something else, or watch something else. No one is forcing you to pay or watch the channel, and if you do decide to part with your hard earned cash, you should be doing so in the knowledge of the Ofcom restrictions placed upon British TV.

And on a final note, well done to Nikki and Jessie who put on a good show. They had plenty of callers so clearly they must have been doing something right.

just seen dirk 362s post.i respect his opinion,but my opinion is that people dont put negative posts on here just for the sake of it,just for the sake of stirring things up as he put it.i believe they fully understand r18 material cant be shown.i think that all they want is a channel that is consistent in showing the strength of material that is allowed and lives up to its name.there is absolutely no reason an encrypted channel should contain any tame content that could be easily shown on free to air channels.in that way those that choose to pay and tune in can be guaranteed allowable x-rated content,and those that are happy with pussyless teasing can stick to the large choice of fully censored free to air stuff.

Not sure if I'm alone in this, but one of the problems I have with BSX is that the girls who go on there that I like tend to be the ones who don't show much (or anything at all) while the ones who will show pussy and do raunchier shows are the ones I'm not bothered about! Obviously there's a few exceptions either way but it does seem to follow this general rule for me.

Gotta agree with Sierraman with regards Dirk362's post. Dirk I posted a negative comment because of the false advertising from bsx and I am fully entitled to do so. It is in no way to stir things up as you put it but to point out the fact that advertising explicit content then showing nothing that is remotely explicit is bullshit. We all know R18 strength material cant be shown on british tv but for a fiver a night the output should be alot better than it is. Ive read back through this thread and negative comments outnumber positive ones by a country mile which must say something. Aslo Dirk anyone that has ever paid for a nights viewing on bsx is entitled to post what they want be it positive or negative. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and just because you enjoyed it and I didnt doesnt mean that I am stirring things up when I post a negative comment.

Sorry Dirk, but I have to disagree. The terms "explicit" and "hardcore" DO NOT have to be read in any context - they have (as evidenced by the 2001 court case) a legal meaning. Babestation cannot use those terms and then turn round and say it's OK because we all know they can't show R18.

Also, the supposedly live show between Ava and Jasmine would barely have qualified as "stronger than you can see on Freeview" never mind hardcore and explicit. It certainly didn't get close to the limits of what is allowed on encrypted channels.

If its going to be a soft erotic show, advertise it as that.
If it will be bananas and balloons, advertise it as that.
And if it is advertised as explicit, then it should be as explicit as allowed.

Let people make INFORMED choices.

Babestation can pretty much advertise as they wish, I dont think they cater their shows specifically to avid followers of certain babes who use these forums. A lot of guys might just want a single night in watching some "porn" who dont actually follow any of the girls or even watch the channels normally. If you want to see "hardcore" porn or even explicit shows then on the internet you can normally find them for free, and even some with girls who are on BS or have been. Also a couple of liveshows namely Beth and Lacey were extremely good especially because they are kinda new girls. At least they are doing something good by doing "liveshows" Id rather spend a buck on that then watch "soft" porn on TVX that you can see hardcore on the internet.
