Getting a score right like 2-4 is unbelievable , but there again there is always a lot of goals between Leeds and Man United so that's where my thinking was.

^^ Good to see that at least someone is benefiting from my teams misery. It's a brave man that would even have a punt at using a joker on a Leeds fixture.

Jokers are all important & I ended my own drought to slightly close the gap on HLO & littlebig who are a little ahead of the chasing pack, but with 11 round to go plenty of points up for grabs, it's far from over.

By the looks of things 300 points has been a good benchmark to be in with a chance of the title, but I think the winner could fall short of that mark this season.

Special mention for Reg, who has had much to deal with organizing each round, with games practically ever day at times. Without his efforts we wouldn't have such a great comp to take part in. Remember that we have a thank button which takes just a split second to press, & really all participants should do just that in a show of appreciation.

Yeah i just wasn't sure about the other results that's why i picked Leeds and Leicester as a joker , what ever happened i wasn't picking Man City again i am pretty sure i have done that as a joker for 3 rounds in a row lol.

Thought I'd take the opportunity to review my seasons progress to date, whilst there's a break.

I find myself handily placed in 2nd, just one point behind littlebig.

Back in week 9 I topped the table, by virtue of my 2nd joker of the season, this proved to be a curse, as what followed was a poor run of form, apart from the double-header weeks 14 & 15. From a 4 point lead I was trailing by 15 points by week 18, yet still in 6th place.

A solid week 23 with 13 points from 13 games, & I moved to 3rd but still trailing by 12 points. This was the start of my return to form. I had a little word with myself & figured that all that was required to close the gap was landing 2 jokers. In week 26 the barren run of jokers ended, & with back to back jokers in weeks 29 & 30, that made 3 in 5 weeks !

With 8 weeks to go, a lot can still happen, & I hope I've given an incite, & some hope to everyone else, that nobody is out of the running in terms of moving up the table & even winning the title. I think I've highlighted that you can turn your season around, with a little skill, & a lot of luck

I don't consider myself best qualified to be successful in playing this game, other than being a lifelong supporter of the greatest football club in the world, Super Leeds United.

It's like Man City & Liverpool in the top 2 places in our league. little big got in the first punch on Saturday with his 7th Joker of the season in the Wolves 2 - 1 Villa match, but Boomer hit back today, with the 3rd Joker in as many weeks, with the West Ham 2 - 1 Everton clash.Still 2 games this week, & all to play for.

^^ littlebig has been the Mr, Consistent of this League, or at least one of a handful of steady performers towards the top half.

But I'd like to give a shout-out to jerry123 who has the most correct results so far this season, still waiting for that first joker, with a few more he'd be right up near the top instead of mid-table. I hope he breaks his duck soon.

Looks like the wait for that is over...

^^ Think my magic is rubbing off on others, I didn't realize that we both had the same Joker. I was watching the Newcastle v Leicester match live & went crazy when they scored in the dying moments of the game.
