Conservative Leadership Contest

Boris Johnson is Foreign Secretary
Reports now saying Osborne axed from the Government and has not resigned.
Amber Rudd is Home Secretary.
Michael Fallon remains Defence Secretary.
Liam Fox becomes Head of a newly created International Trade Department.

I think Boris as Foreign Secretary is a ploy - it will mean he's out of the country a lot!

Hope is first trip is to Syria

David Davis to head the Brexit Department.

Always thought he was an intelligent guy. Think this is a good appointment.

David Davis is my favourite Tory, he knows his stuff and won't take any crap, so he is an excellent appointment in that difficult role. The icing on the cake though has to be the sacking of Gideon Osborne, I can't stand the little shit, may he never darken my TV screen again.

Some of the other positions yet to be allocated include:
Education Secretary
Health Secretary
Department for Work and Pensions Secretary
Chief Secretary to the Treasury
Justice Secretary
Secretary of States for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland
Transport Secretary
International Development Secretary

I hope the rest of the appointments sustain the standard of this first batch. Boris as Foreign Secretary - look out, world!

Seems to be the job he is most likely to screw up, I imagine him being a milder version of Prince Phillip in that role, diplomatic gaffes aplenty.
The more he screws up, the less of a leadership rival he becomes for the future.
