Wasn't it Trumps contention that the Republican computers were too well protected to be hacked?

Not that blaming the victim excuses the (alleged) crime, of course.

It was claimed at the Senate Intelligence Committee hearing that Marco Rubio's campaign for the Republican nomination was probably hacked. If true that would possibly indicate a desire to ensure Trump won the nomination as Rubio was thought by many to be the best candidate.

I thought Jeb Bush was supposed to be the front-runner for the Republicans?

Then there was that audio leak about Trump's attitude to women - but that probably wasn't the Russians, so that's just fair game, huh?

^ Well Bush didn't last long did he?. In all US elections you get exposure of past behaviour. Remember John Kerry? None is usually classified as illegal behaviour by a foreign power as with the Russian allegations which include both hacking and potentially illegal contact by Bush campaign people. The Trump tape was by all accounts one of many that exist mainly from his Apprentice show but strangely enough staff had to sign a non disclosure agreement with a $5m penalty. Wonder why he thought that was necessary?

The point is that the Democrats acted as though all the crap in the campaign was flung their way. Clinton thought that being exonerated twice by the FBI damaged her chances!

Maybe it was harder to besmirch Trump since people had a low view of him, whereas Clinton has been put on a pedestal for so long that there was only 1 way she could go...

^ What Comey of the FBI did when he in the last few days of the campaign said they were looking the her emails again was undeniably a bad move for her. Clearing her again a week or so later did not remove the damage he had caused. Yet all the while he knew the FBI were investigating Trumps team for their Russian connections but he said nothing.

However look what the world got. A President who has lessened the controls on military strikes so that it's now not an issue if innocent civilians get killed as over 100 recently did in a US strike. Oh and he's picking a fight on his own with North Korea saying he'll sort them out if China don't. His idea of diplomacy seems to be war war war!

Hillary Clinton was well on the way to war with Russia, maybe you would have preferred that, in the event of her election.

To go with all the other bloodstains already on her professional record.

Pretty clear you hate Clinton but at least she's a politician rather than the Narcissistic, mysoginist, lying, cheating, racist & Russian apologist that got elected. (Yeah I hate Trump ) Guess we won't ever agree on this and I'd certainly say both parties let themselves down with their nominees. Maybe you and I should have been allowed to run on a joint ticket
