I knew about it two weeks ago as some insiders I know knew about it, but it’s one of things whether it’s true or not now we know it is. Am more curious if they’ll able to do 20 eps as stated especially with covid still around.

Six seasons is a good solid run, it wasn't in my upper tier of TV shows but its been part of my watching for 5 years now & it was a good B show to have in your planner, something easy to watch when you are having your dinner or not in the mood for the more intense dramas

Plus it's social/political content had the added bonus of winding up the right people & reminding them of their increasing irrelevance in today's world

Its amazing how it lasted so long considering how low its ratings got it started with 12 million viewers and by the end of the 1st season had 6m then got sent to a shitter network and pretty much lost half its viewers every season from that point, last season averaged 800k viewers so over 6 seasons over 11 million people thought the show was the shits and stopped watching

Now they can do the Dreamer spin-off show

I can't say I'm gutted it's ending, but I have enjoyed it so am sad to see it go. If they hadn't fixed it after season one, I would have binned it off back then, but it got better. I think they've probably done as much as they can with it anyway, plus Melissa is dropping a sprog, so.
I agree with Stu about it being ''a good B show'' that's spot on, easy to watch and mostly fun, the political stuff was sometimes in yer face and a bit lame though, but after season one, I think they got more right than wrong. Calista leaving was a highlight for me. lol.

Been hearing Melissa Benoist was contracted for six seasons and wanted to move on especially now with being mother.

I do have a idea how they can wrap up the show and still keep the character alive.
