Just where do United go from here? Only two games into a Prem season & now knocked out of the Carabao Cup and all of a sudden the weekend game at Burnley becomes absolutely massive. That has to be the lowest United can sink - to lose to a L2 club whose team probably cost the wages of several of those at United is nothing short of a disgrace. How they even managed to get it to penalties is beyond me.

I can't see how much longer Amorim can even survive after that, but surely the real problems is what is going on in the club behind the scenes has to be a factor. If Amorim survives till January at least, then I'd say he's been lucky to have survived that long, but I have a feeling he'll probably walk out on United long before then, to save them firing him. The chalice at United is now probably far more poisoned than the England job.

Whatever system Amorim is trying I'd say it is not suited to English football, or he is playing far too many players out of position and if Amorim either walks out or fired before or after Burnley, then I'd say whoever eventually does come in, is going to have make an big instant impact and be ruthless. I can certainly see a huge clear out happening next summer, regardless. It'll be a long season for United fans and there is hell of a long wait for another chance of silverware in the FA in January, but it has to be said - Surely it would have been better for United to have bought quality players somehow this summer without having to spend big?

I'm not a United fan, but I wanted to post my thoughts on the situation after last night, that has to be the ultimate humiliation & kick up the backside that was probably needed, to wake the players up and realise they need to start performing pretty damn quickly.

Wolves have completed the signing of 26 year old Girona defender Ladislav Krejci on an initial loan deal.

They were. After Leeds got knocked out on Penalties by Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday night I thought it was embarrassing but Man Utd last night were awful and have cheered me up

The football transfer merrygoround is getting complicated.
