do feel sorry for some of the russian athletes especially the ones that dont actually have much to do with training and dope testing in russia

Lots going on this evening from a British point of view.
Joe Clarke has just sealed his place in the K1 canoe slalom final in which his tilt for a medal is due at 7.36pm.
Team GB women lead Argentina 2-0 in the hockey.

Tim Kneale and Steven Scott are in the semi final of the mens double trap shooting a bit later.
Then Sally Conway faces her semi final in the 70kg Judo before the GB rugby 7s men play Argentina in a quarter final clash.
Hopefully Jo Konta and Andy Murray will get on to court in the tennis also. Konta faces a tough test against Australian Open champion Angelique Kerber in her last eight clash.

Edit: Argentina have closed to within one goal at 3-2 down.
Squeaky bum time .

The GB women have completed a 3-2 win over Argentina and in so doing have sealed a last eight spot with two group matches to spare. Shooting semis underway.
