Barry Hawkins this afternoon trounced UK champion Mark Allen 6-0 to storm into the quarter finals.

In the evening match Mark Williams saw off David Gilbert 6-2.

In the evening match Stuart Bingham raced into a 5-0 lead before Kyren Wilson pulled back to 3-5. Bingham closed out the win in a nervy ninth frame to advance.

Vafaei kept with Lisowski to 4-4, but Jack managed to take it 6-4. He might find Mark Williams a good test in their semi-final.
