When I heard about what had happened and other incidents, it reminded me of what Brian Clough did one night after a cup game, and though fans said afterwards 'they deserved it' at the time, I have always wondered if Nottingham Police ever investigated it. It is in the rule that no other persons should encroach the playing surface and it is a a criminal offence to do so.
