Perhaps you should read the Lisbon treaty before you make any further idiotic remarks. It's only possible to leave the EU on the EU's terms.

Ahem......
I think you'll find he was referring to us making them wait to trigger article 50.

I thought Leave had retracted that now, saying it recognised that free movement of labour was essential.

But it isn't essential, how long as the freedom of movement been in? a decade? the UK stuggled to find jobs for it's indigenous population in the 80's with 3 million unemployed, in times and areas where there was a sortage in labour, foreign workers were happily employed.

UK workers have emigrated to none EU countries as well before free movement, to the point the Uk was getting worried about a thing called the brain drain.

To say it's essential is just more remain hogwash and exaggeration.

I thought some of them were saying they had never said immigration would fall - just that they would have control of it. That's not the same as freedom of movement. Mind you they seem to be racing to deny everything they said in the campaign!

Hi Wackawoo. Have you got the source of this info? I thought Germany were the biggest net contributors.

Yes, i supplied a link many many pages back not long after I joined the debate.

Germany contributed the most but got over half back, France got around half back, there wa sanother and then the UK that got barely a third back.

However, like you said to me (at least I think it was you), it is up to you to go find it. Tongue

he means free movement of 'labour' is essential if we want to be in the free market.

Yes it's something that most people are overlooking. It's only possible to leave the EU on the EU's terms and they may not give us god terms in case it encourages anyone else to leave.

if we cant get a deal then we will be on WTO Rules trade tariffs apparently its 36% for Farming and food products and 10% for Motor cars

so we would be proberly be paying more in tarriffs than we would paying membership to the free market

Nobody knows yet, some Germans say it would be silly to get tough on trade with UK, some say teach um a lesson, even so, the UK would still have it's own trade rights; it's pretty clear the EU does not have to go heavy on the UK but ti was the black mail I spoke off.

But then, it's that's the price of independence, that's it.
