English pundits & commentators continue to be dreadful, they treat every English player playing well like he's fucking Pele. They're all getting their dicks hard over Foden & Greenwood right now. Not to say they are performing poorly they are both good stuff right now, it's just the English get so carried away.

Today during the Chelsea v Watford game, the commentator told us as we he was going through the line ups that it was the first time Ross Barkley had started 3 games in a row for Chelsea. Then when Barkley scores in the stoppage time the commentator say that that was his first goal in the Premier League for 20 months only for Alan Smith to straight away say that Barkley has turned into an "extremely consistnat performer" !! Then he goes & gives the man of the match to Mason Mount despite the fact that Pulisic had a better game

Excellent result by Southampton in beating Man City.

It was a top defensive performance.

Rubbish for most peoples fantasy teams though including mine .

Typical shite from the English media. Foden is the natural successor to David Silva apparently, one of the best players in the Premier League for the last 10 years, seriously, over hyped nonsense. They big up these young or massively overrated players when they aren't worth it or haven't earned it yet. Setting them up for a fall when the national team "under performs" at big tournaments

The Barkley stuff is nonsense and has been going on for years. Yes he has talent but has never showed it for any consistent period. He would have one good game in every 10 at best

Oh and Alan Smith is one of the worst commentators around, actually can't listen to him when he's on a game: Clueless.

Burnley are too close to playing Europe next year. I wish they'd pack it in.

That's shocking it means uafa ffp system don't work and the big clubs can go back to spending silly money, not a good day for football

Would Agree UEFA now has to find a way to make the FFP system much more robust and unchallengeable,
I think the decision will only eventually lead to the bigger clubs across Europe spending want they want and making the CL becoming a elitist competition and giving those clubs more power to challenge UEFA and eventually breaking away from UEFA and possibly taking the CL competition. Not only that I would not be surprised clubs like PSG challenging any previous bans and getting them overturned.
