He was stupid lying if as he claims it was in his role on one of the Senate committees. Be interesting if minutes were kept of the private meeting.

That's the thing, it may well be innocent, but 'forgetting' to mention it looks shady. Not that he's exactly trustworthy anyway.
There's far too much of that going on, I thought our lot were bad for the way they conduct themselves, half truths and sneaking things under the radar, but these guys make them look clean cut
Some are calling for to him resign, or at least put distance between himself and the FBI investigation. Let's see.

The book written about how all this played out will make somebody a fortune in the near future...if we haven't all been nuked.

What hasn't had much coverage from his speech to Congress is the new Victims of Immigration Crimes Engagement office "VOICE" which will record crimes committed by immigrants. This looks from all accounts to be a means by which they can demonise immigrants to justify the Trump governments actions by highlighting all crimes committed by immigrants. Doing so for just one section of US residents and ignoring record keeping of crimes by e.g. White Nationalists is a frightening step. Existence assessments show that the percentage of crimes committed by immigrants is less than the national average but of course that is deemed unacceptable information by Trump.

if the story is true and FBI hacking probe reveals what really happened in the election, would that be more than enough anno to trigger impeachment?
