WWE booked him to face HHH at WM30 and can't work out why he would quit immediately..? Er...

I'd love to see him go to TNA, I'm sure he'd relish the professional challenge of working with guys like Kurt Angle, let alone the chance to work his way through the Knockouts division

But if he has saved his money, and he talked before that he was expecting to leave wrestling, I guess that's that.

Can you really blame punk for being frustrated? Even he is finding batista's push bizarre and felt it was Daniel Bryan's year to main event, it's good his going as it will help send out a message

because i read that the reason he weren't at raw was because of a late script change so wwe could focus more on Daniel Bryan

And who's to say his "quitting" isn't scripted again

I think its legit this time, maybe vince might give him a better contract to tempt him back or something, it's a bit silly punk throwing his toys out of the pram anyway he's the longest reigning champ in the modern era, what more does he want? he can't be champ all the time and nobody would want him to be, i agree if he is pissed off about batista winning the rumble though, but bryan hasn't quit and he constantly gets overlooked and buried and if he faces HHH at mania he will get buried again, im not a punk fan but him leaving is still a big loss for wwe, there is about 300 pages on cm punk quitting wwe on wrestling forum.com lol

Its Official, Punk has quit because Batista won the royal rumble, Stone cold tweeted he will be talking about it in his podcast

Batista winning was predictable and boring - yet another missed opportunity to do something new, try and get some fans like myself back on side, do something which no-one predicted or no-one was expecting. Blah.

Can't blame Punk for jacking it in. At least it shows someone's willing to make a stand against the bosses of this once great company, which now looks quite pitiful. The Cena crap, the Shield as corporate puppies, the predictable boring RR winner. Piss off Vince, Piss off HHH, piss off Shawn Michaels (Christ is that guy ever going to retire?), piss off Batista.

so are they going to explain why punk left next week on raw or will he simply just be forgotten about and never mentioned again? will punk's name be mentioned when the announce team talk about previous wwe champs and legends on commentary? will he go into the hall of fame?
