Porn has faced a handful of legal challenges in the US over the last 30+ years. It is now pretty well established that it is protected by the first amendment (free speech) over there. (The lack of a written constitution regarding such matters is why we now have no solid legal defence against an ever rising tide of censorship in this country.)

Trump would have a hard time overturning such precedent. I've seen no sign of any desire for such a battle from him. (And he's hardly shy at stating his aims is he?!)

Also key players in the Trump camp come to the administration via work on non-mainstream internet 'news' sites. (Brietbart, etc., are invaluable to his kind of compaining.) They know how to use the web and it's freedoms and are not scared of it as many other establishment figures seem to be. As such they'd presumably be looking to much bigger fish to fry than such a narrow-minded, ill-founded crusade. (The UK government can be said to be only undertaking such as a cover for creating a means to wider control of the net.)
