Another exhibition tournament with spectators and more players testing positive, Francis Tiafoe had apparently been not feeling well for a couple of days and yet still played and has now tested positive for COVID

Whichever Mickey Mouse tournament is going on in New York is proving a winner for Jo Konta, who beat Maria Sakkari in the quarter-finals; Sakkari having KO's Serena Williams in the previous round. Konta plays Azarenka next, I think.

Konta won the 1st set, but lost overall. Azarenka plays Naomi Osaka in the final.

^ it is the Western and Southern Open usually played in Cincinnati but due to current situation being played at Flushing Meadow site of the US Open.

Osaka seemed to withdraw from tournament supposedly taking a stand against latest shooting of black criminal by cops but instead tournament pushed semi's back to Friday and played them both at the same time on outside courts. A lot of people say Martens should have got a bye to the final

Osaka withdrew anyway, so Azarenka won by default. First title since 2016 apparently.
