channels 912 and 959 are gone from sky

Anyone else got a clue why the channels are harder to find than nuclear submarine?

It confuses me as well , i can't make head nor tails of it all , but i think Bangmedia is as it's name says some sort of media company and Tease Me TV is the Babe channel branch of a much larger media company , Sky channel 911 is rather a strange channel , it has a Playboy licence , but it transmits a show called "Red Light Central" at night and "Red Light Lounge" in the day , the shows are transmitted from Cathy Barry's "Pumpkin" studios' these shows are run by Cathy in association with Tease Me TV , it says the show is in association with Tease Me TV on the small on screen OSGs , but sometimes when Michelle thorn is on Bangbabes she is also transmitted from the Pumpkin studios on Sky and freeview , so it is possible for bangbabes if they choose to use the 911 channel for Bangbabes , if Cathy agreed of cause . plus the late night EPG for Ch 911 always shows Bangbabes being transmitted but it never is .

That's Sky's way of ensuring channels pay them loads of cash for an EPG slot. Sky don't own the satellites they broadcast on, but they do control the EPG.

It's all about convenience, which is why you can't add non-EPG channels to a Sky digibox without jumping through hoops.

Not only that, it was originally to stop people using the receiver for foreign broadcasts from other satellites.

I don't want to get into a long technical explanation but suppose you had an FM Radio (88 - 108 on the dial) which you could only tune it in to stations between, say, 93 and 96....which is where Sky broadcast...that is how the Sky box is set up!

i sense this is ofcom waving the fist of power due to the increased risqueness of the bang shows as of late. i defo dont think this is a techinical issue. or maybe bangs license ran out or they tried to modify it.

i just cant see this being down to a sky error.

I can't either. If the channels become tamed, then they won't be worth watching to me, and could lose business, which would be a shame.

Tameness hasn't had much impact on the Cellcast shows, I mean, the girls on the Cellcast shows always seem busy on the phones. Anyway, guys will always call in these channels, even if it's just to talk about the weather, or some other random stuff.
