Most people don't have to travel the length of the country to get to work, and then go home again at the end of the week. Many MP's are in the shielding group, either for themselves or a member of their family. Suspension of the online voting system means they won't be able to vote.

It's fuck all to do with getting MP's 'back to work' and everything to do with getting the Tory MP's who rebelled over Cummings back within reach of the whips.

Even with Boris having a full bench of sort Starmer will still kick Boris's ass and tbh Boris should now accept the truth - he is out of his depth.

There will still only be 50 MP's allowed in the chamber at any one time though. The rest will have to hang around elsewhere until it's time to vote.

If only they weren't weekend figures, and if they were accurate it would show that we are heading in the right direction.

Deaths reported are 111, but the running total has increased by 556.

I hope that by some freak of nature we can extradite Johnson and the rest of his cabinet to Guantanamo Bay once they are kicked out of office to share cells there with Trump and co indefinitely. That's where they belong. I'm not sure where Cummings should go though. This shit show of a Government needs to be wound up as quickly as possible and the country deserves a Government that is way better at communicating with it's people & open and honest.
