What has the fact that The premier league has some spanish players got to do with my post? All I said was that I don't think the rest of the LA Liga teams outside the two madrid teams and Barcelona would give many premier league teams sleepless nights. It was the person I was responding to who was saying we are a long way behind Spainsh teams. I was just suggesting how I did not think that was necessarily the case

FFS i mean't the midtable and bottom la liga teams have spanish players not prem teams, you are clearly assuming the prem is better than la liga but that is just ignorance

Untill we see the likes of Bournemouth play Real Betis then we can't compare leagues

Sevilla finished 7th in la liga this season so are they irrelevant to the spanish league?. This argument about the prem being better than La Liga is pointless because how much do you know about Las Palmas and Eibar for example? would they beat teams like Watford and West brom? i reckon Barca and Real Madrid would destroy half of the prem teams 5-0 especially in home games, plus with most of the prem teams full of foreigners its hardly an England v Spain argument anymore anyway

Plus West Ham and Southampton were knocked out of the Europa League by minnows last season, if Southampton win the Europa league next season i'll be shocked

i don't think Sevilla would have any sleepness nights if they had to play Westham in the europa league, but until we see average prem teams playing average La liga teams nobody can say what is the better league

I was suggesting that the two madrid teams and Barcelona were head and shoulders above the rest of la Liga. Considering the fact there are 24 points between 3rd place Atletico and 4th place Villarreal I think it's a fair point
