What about this breakaway euro super league?
That's what happens when you have foreign owners who don't understand or care about the history of the club, it's place in the community or the meaning if true competition. The beauty of football is that it is based on a meritocracy. If you are good enough you compete in the big leagues if not you don't regardless of your teams wealth, glamour or prestige. its that simple.

As a fan of one of the clubs supposedly involved in these talks it's absolutely stupid , if you don't finish in the top 4 then you shouldn't be playing Champions League football .

I don't think for a minute fans are in favour of the move. The owners however are a disgrace to even contemplate the decision.

It is like Rangers and Celtic saying they want to play in English Premiership or the recent idea to restrict the Champions League to a certain number of elite teams from certain nations. Never going to happen

Good choice as for he'll know what the fans want as Liverpool & Newcastle fans are somewhat similar in how passionate they are , plus he's a pretty damn good manager .

Wonder if A Vila are on alert?
