bellamy was crap for coventry, newcastle, celtic (on loan), liverpool, yet clubs still want him it makes no sense but he did have one decent season with blackburn not doing very well for west ham either

I agree with mospur about Bellamy, The Poisoned Dwarf isn't worth having if you're playing above Championship level. He's only really had one good goal scoring season in the top flight and that came about mostly through sides ignoring him 'cos all of their attention was on Shearer, who was still near his peak at the time. The reason I say Championship level isn't because he's totally useless, just that what he adds to a team isn't worth the trouble he brings with him when there are plenty of players of his quality at home and abroad who are far less likely to disrupt a dressing room.
