The screenplay for a new The Crow film is finished and production will begin this year, Producer Edward Pressman told MTV today. The new film will, according to Pressman, be set in both a small Southwest town and a larger city. The action will move from the town to the city and back again. So far all thats been said is there want a major star to play the role of the crow but haven't said who they are looking at to fill the role.

Oscar winner Sam Mendes is still keen on directing Bond 23.

Deadline claims "Mendes remains committed to the Bond film and intends to direct it once the MGM ownership situation gets sorted out." Oscar winner Sam Mendes is still keen on directing Bond 23.

Meanwhile, until Bond 23 is back on track, the site says Mendes is "bullish" on making the adaptation of the Ian McEwan novel On Chesil Beach his next film. Carey Mulligan (An Education, Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps) is in talks to star.

Confirming previous reports of the choice for a replacement, Michael Bay has officially announced Rosie Huntington-Whiteley as the newset "Transformers" hottie.

The Victoria's Secret model steps in for Megan Fox, with work slated to begin shortly on the third installment of the hit action movie franchise.

Offering a warm welcome to the 23-year-old, Bay wrote, "I would like for all you S4TE fans to welcome Rosie Huntington-Whiteley to the world of Transformers. As some of you might know, she's the new female lead in Transformers 3."
