By 2025 there would only be government run media

Obama did not use his personal twitter while he was President. Trump thinks he's above the law and protocol.

Not really, the press have to face the electorate every day. Every article they put out is up for judgement, if the electorate aren't on board, they won't buy, no buyers = no advertisers = no business.
The president only faces re-election every four years, hence it doesn't matter that he has such low approval ratings right now.

Perhaps He is acting outside the law with some of his talk about how they are removing people from the country and won't be let back?
