Just seen the trailer on Imdb for World War Z starring Brad Pitt. Due out in June 2013 this looks immense. If I remember correctly some of the filming was done in Glasgow a year or so ago though it was made to look like an American city.
The next Die Hard movie out in February looks hot too. Set in Russia it too looks like its going to be a must see.

I did hear a rumour about he could be in the running along with the guy that directed Captain America Joe Johnston, but i can't see Joss Whedon doing the first new Star Wars film as its coming out in the summer of 2015 round about the same time as The Avengers 2 i think he would perfect you never know tho. I could see him doing one of the other two Star Wars after that tho. As long as they don't let Michael Bay any where near it lol, i could see J.J Abrams doing it look what he did with Star Trek.

with stars wars they should go to the books that are set after the fall of the empire.

arnie is set to play conan for a 3rd time. also star with stallone, jim caviezel (john reese, person of interest) in The Tomb out in 2013.

Sylvester Stallone (The Expendables 2 will star in the indie drama Reach Me, written and directed by his Cobra co-star John Herzfeld, reports Variety. Stallone filmed his role for several days and has already wrapped. He'll appear in the film alongside Nelly, Omari Hardwick, Elizabeth Henstridge, Danny Aiello and Rebekah Chaney. The trade says the story "follows a group of people who all have a connection to a self-help book authored by a reclusive former football coach." He is also set to start filming Grudge Match soon.

Jack Reacher director Christopher McQuarrie is the choice to direct the next "Mission: Impossible" film. Also the sequel to Amazing Spider-Man will begin production in February of 2013.

The Dark Knight Rises star Tom Hardy is set to lead the feature film adaptation of Ubisoft's best-selling video game franchise, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell, he'll be playing Sam Fisher.

i suppose if your filming a zombie Apocalypse then glasgow's a natural choice!
