Well done Campbell for winning gold, fought very well both boxers. Campbell was more accurate and clever with his punches on Nevin, who boxed well, but sometimes I felt he left himself too open to punches.

Well done Nevin for getting silver, better luck next time

The men's hockey final was buried away on the red button and wasn't even shown on freeview despite the Beeb having given blanket coverage to the rest of the tournament!!

Germany beat The Netherlands 2-1 with the winner coming 4 minutes from time, and if this does turn out to be Barry Davies's last commentary, as the final hooter blew he came out with "In the semi-final they scored nine, but tonight the Germans said "nein""!!

We have seen some good boxers and some excellant boxers, who have won medals in the Olympics.

Just watched 4 by 100 metre relay and there appeared to be a fallout between Bolt and some officials. Bolt wanted to keep the baton I assume as a souvenir, but the officials wouldn't let him.

I don't see why the officials wouldn't let Bolt keep it, its just hollow steel bar coated in yellow paint and they can easily make another one.

Bolt should have run off with it, theres no way they would have caught him

I hope this isn't Bolt's last Olympics in terms of sprinting. I heard rumours he might turn his attentions to the high jump or long jump in the next Olympics, as he may want to want to leave sprinting on a high
