Yesterday, EW reported that Harrison Ford is open to the idea of reprising the role of Han Solo now Carrie Fisher said she would also be interested in appearing too in the new Star Wars film.

Captain America: The First Avenger actor Dominic Cooper will co-star with Aaron Paul in DreamWorks' Need for Speed film.

Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures announced today that director Zack Snyder’s upcoming action adventure Man of Steel will be presented in 3D in select theaters, as well as in 2D and IMAX.
Dwayne Johnson is now locked to star in director Brett Ratner's Hercules, Deadline reports. The film will be co-produced between MGM and Paramount Pictures.

Reading between the lines that would suggest that they will be bringing in new younger characters to fulfill the action requirements. With Harrison pushing 70 I can't see him being the main action lead...unless the film is set in a New Republic Retirement Home

warner bros has confirmed it is rebooting the mortal kombat franchise and already it has a director and a budget

My idea would be to set in the future with new cast then they could still use Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher fitting in with them being being older they could maybe use there kids to take up the fight similar to how it was in the novels with a older Luke Skywalker being the Obi Wan Kenobi role.

Fox has decided to open the new Peanuts movie against Marvel's Ant-Man on November 6th 2015.

Ehren Krueger wrote the script for Transformers 4, which will reportedly set out in a mostly new direction from its predecessors… aside from the, you know, whole giant robot thing.
