It looks like Martin Skrtel's stamp on David De Gea was spotted by the FA. The incident is being investigated.

West Brom's Gareth McAuley will not suffer a suspension after being incorrectly sent off in Saturday's defeat at Manchester City.
The Football Association will now switch the card from McAuley to Craig Dawson

O'Shea didn't get the card transferred to him as the ref said both players fouled the striker so it wasn't mistaken identity.

Northern Ireland leading Finland 2-0 in their European Championship qualifying game to continue their good start.

Caught the last thirty minutes of North Ferriby v Wrexham in the FA Trophy on BT Sport. Whilst obviously not top notch football it was all that the sport should be - goals, comebacks, excitement, effort, heartbreak, joy and skill. From 2-0 down NF came back to lead 3-2 in extra time, only for Wrexham to equalise two minutes before the final whistle. The penalty shootout swung one way and then the other with some good penalties, some poor ones and some good saves before North Ferriby of the Conference North finally won the trophy.

Well done to the underdog and thanks to all concerned for the entertainment - and not a pampered, over paid overpriced millionaire in sight!

Anyone able to put up a copy the letter that's supposedly been signed by 5 former England managers and in full please? I think it would make interesting reading & discussion

As good as Greg Dyke's plan is, it doesn't explain why other countries can develop talent that managers in the Premiership decide are better/that they can rely on over home grown players.. Like Tennis in this country it is a case of having too much money and not using it in the right ways to develop and bring decent players through clubs

While I agree with a lot of what the letter says, I do think the blame has lie squarely at the FA allowing the Premier league to run independently as it has done and also at times not laying down the law to the clubs and if the PL had ensured home grown talent had been given fair opportunity where possible.
Dyke's plans looks pretty much like they will never bear fruition and England will almost certainly fall further down the FIFA ranking as it struggles to put a definite plan in place.
I feel the only way we can put on show our emerging talent at international level is to revive the Home internationals and make them 50% experienced and 50% youth. I feel the home internationals
were perhaps the best way we could bring young talent through.
