RE: The Official WWE Discussion Thread
How can Cena be the main guy when he's injured and going to be out for 6 months? Bryan's a talented wrestler. He's been the main face superstar whom the fans have got behind all year. But why are they basically steamrollering his career? And he's been champion before so why the fuck should a 'little man' not be able to win it again? If its the case that only someone like Orton should be able to be champion then there's no point in having any other superstars competing. It may as well just be the McMahon faction beating everyone up with no proper matches. That's what its becoming anyway and its boring. It sucks.

HHH was a good heel in the past when there were storylines which made sense. This storyline does not make sense. Just a corporate prick throwing his weight around and ruining the talent. Vince has always been the corporate villain so why does HHH need to do it as well? And siding with Orton is a crap idea. Steph hugging Orton was brainless too. "Oh hi Steph - remember when I RKOd you in the ring and kissed your unconscious body to promote one of the biggest battles against HHH in memory? No? me neither". Huh

Cody Rhodes fired (so someone gets fired for disagreeing with the boss again). The rest of the locker room forced to stand and watch as Big Show is made a corporate puppet again. The show ending with Bryan getting beat down by a mob again. It's boring. If its the same every week they may as well just pull the plug. There were times last night again where the crowd seemed genuinely lost as to what the point was. Piss off Vince. Piss off HHH.

There is though, one good thing from my point of view - I still want to fuck Steph.

it is going to get better leading to mania, I think vince is gonna turn face and side with either rock or stone cold to take on triple h for ownership, you may see a lot of triple h on raw but atleast his a heel now which he thrives on and maybe the old sledgehammer might come back again

the storyline makes sense as they basically see bryan as a no body, midget of a wwe champ and they are trying their best to make sure he never succeeds, bryan of course playing the hero and trying to overcome them.

I know what you mean mate, that yes lock is too much like the cross face for my liking also, I think Brie Bella should be careful or maybe she end up like Nancy annoyed they say the vince limo explosion may have caused benoits brain damage, so i'm glad he doesn't team with kane anymore because kanes pyro explosions could do the same brain damage to Daniel. Important
You're not serious? Surprised Bryan can cut a promo, for a start.

I don't really get why Vince gets so obsessive about pushing big blokes as heroes and little blokes as hopeless. HBK was hardly a colossus, was he? Ditto Ric Flair.
Blokes like Punk and Bryan are amongst the very best wrestlers & talkers in the industry.

Sorry - I just don't see it. They have an obsession these days with pushing little blokes as no hopers, where historically the likes of Mysterio and Guerrero, Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels - the list's an arm long of smaller wrestlers who've been some of the company's best ever performers and best ever WWE champions. Bryan is already an established superstar on the main roster. He's been a favourite of the crowd for months now, stretching back to this time last year at least. He's been World Champion. He was the face of the Smackdown brand at least. The storyline therefore of him having no chance does not make sense.

HHH should stay away and run things from the executive office. And like I said, Vince is already the corporate heel. We don't need two or three with Stephanie joining in aswell. We've seen it all before - the McMahon ruling faction, the corporate puppets. It would actually keep it interesting if Bryan had remained champion. Then the storyline would have worked. But to state right off the bat that there's no chance, it's bad for business, he'll never be an A+ (ludicrous statement from Steph) is just madness in my view.

Wouldn't you rather see new talent being promoted instead of has-beens keep being pushed over the new guys? annoyed

And as for Big Show playing his role well? Jesus Christ if I had a pound for every time I saw that bloke do his 'sell out to a corporate faction' routine I'd be a very rich man by now. It's old news. It's boring. I want to see new things, new promotions. Not something that I've seen countless times over the last two decades.

You have a point about seeing the same thing everytime but I'm enjoying seeing the mcmahons on tv again plus triple h ain't really been involved on tv over the last couple of years apart from when he wants to wrestle at mania

I agree the crowd more than anything looked completely fed up too, Non of this story makes any sense at all as Bryan has already been a face of the company and been in wrestlemania... also the undertaker who is one of the all time legends of WWE, he wasn't anything like the image of HHH's ideal champion was he? Was Undertaker bad for WWE?... No, he was the opposite. Just another reason why the story is nonsense...

They keep goin on about "good for buissness"..... how is having the same matches week after week with the same group of people ending exactly the same good for buisness?

And getting rid of Cody Rhodes is pathetic, he is one of the best wrestlers they have... there are a number of talented fresh superstars they have who should be being pushed for title matches and bigger matches who are being screwed over in my opinion by the McMahons...

The Shield have been ruined, they were one of the best things about WWE and their whole gimmick has been ruined... they should be beating Randy Orton and fighting against HHH and the McMahons not used as some kind of puppets.

Fandango beating Jericho at Wrestlemania looked as though he was going to get a push and get a good run after being promoted from nxt, but instead they give him the same matches week after week usually ending in him walking away or being a jobber...

Summer Rae promoted from nxt, former american football player, can actually wrestle a lot better than a lot of the divas, but the WWE won't let her get a match or anything on Raw or Smackdown or even barely get involved in Fandango's matches, when AJ was with Dolph she always played a part...

And then bringing the whole locker room out to stand and watch..... they are supposed to be wrestling for us, half of them haven't wrestled for weeks......

Think HHH and whoever writes the thing need to step back and take a hard look.. they have gone too far now with this whole "good for buisness"...... it's boring, not interesting.... HHH had his time on screen, if he is going to be on screen, wrestle if he has issues with Bryan fight him in the ring, otherwise stay off the screen and concentrate on writing decent stories for other guys not putting himself before everybody, how is the company supposed to move on and progress?

I can near on gaurantee if WWE weren't PG then the recent storylines would be great. They'd be blood everywhere, insane chair shots to the head etc.... These storylines just dont entertain when its PG

I can't believe Smackdown started the same way Raw ended, All the locker room on the stage with HHH in the ring and the shield protecting........ poor

Agree with the above posts but another thing that annoys the hell outta me is "The Big Show" constantly crying!!! They are so desperate that they've resorted to make a 500 pound wrecking machine cry twice a weekannoyed

Whats next??? The Undertaker enters the ring in a tutu!!!!
