Here's my assessment of the opening day: -
Bet a lot of football bets went down on the Swansea result!! (Mine probably included!!) And van Gaal must have left his tactical genius back in Rio! I found that the most surprising result of the opening as I expected United to go on and win after Rooney's equaliser. I bet the odds on Van Gaal getting the sack have been cut a bit. Palace put up a great fight against Wenger & co despite Pulis' walk out. I would like to see them stay up, but it's going to be tough. As for my team? We lost 1-0 to Hull, but performance wise I think 'Arry was quite positive about it, it will take a bit of time to gel. Rio was at fault for the goal though.
