An Aussie vegetarian called Hannah follows a trail up Mount Yurigatake, most of which seems scenic and manageable, but the very final top bit with 4 special ladders and a guide looked horrific.

Hannah is clearly game, because she was back (just last month) climbing Mount Kitadake, apparently the 2nd highest mountain in the "Southern Alps" in a 2-day trek which included a perilous path leading to the nearby Mount Aenodake, the 3rd highest etc
