A little more more news on Season 3, we will be getting to see Caitlin Snow's mother, the last time we first we,be heard of her was in "Escape From Earth-2".

Season 3 of The Flash returns on Tuesday 4th of October at 8pm in the States and will be paired with the new show No Tomorrow at 9pm.

Aside from the name Zoom/Hunter Zolomon and his trying destroy Flash in the Tv show the comic version of Zoom is different how ever in DC Rebirth Flash issue 1, a energy force effects some of people of central city (sound familiar) giving some people the powers of the flash some just want normal lives, some are good and wanna be heroes and other evil. One such speedster which Barry Allen has been training along with the other speedsters turns evil and becomes a serial killer (again sound familiar? TV Zoom) and sets out to destroy central city and go on a killing spree and takes up the name Godspeed. Just shows you it's not only the comic books which influence the TV but also vice versa, pic below of God Speed kinda looks like the TV Zoom too except his yellow instead of black.

You were bang on the money Kalel, they were setting up Flashpoint. So, what will this mean for the show?

My guess it will basically follow Flashpoint but they'll have to make changes for example they won't use Batman aka Thomas Wayne, Superman or the war between Aquaman or cyborg. Now they could use Reverse Flash but not the way he was used in Flashpoint.
Now what would do is run the Flashpoint arc for several Ep's, if the producers had any balls I would let the changes effect the other shows except Supergirl as its on another earth. What I would also do use Supergirl in the flashpoint arc but use her comic counter part I.E Power Girl. I would eventually make Barry fix the timeline back but the added twist is that timeline doesn't go 100 percent back just like flashpoint causing the rise of a new villian the rest of series would be about Barry fixing his mistake. I also have a idea on how they could integrate the Supergirl universe into Earth 1 if anyone wants to know.

What think will happen is everything will seem familiar but it's way different, Barrys relationships and friendships will be gone all tho he'll think his happy something is gonna happen far worse then him losing both parents, when you play around the time it has a way of making things worse his been warned about that, then he'll realise the error of his ways and change things back. They could bring back old characters and maybe even familiar characters from the comics am looking forward to season 3.

For the cross over they could do a version of Crisis on Infinite Earths on a smaller scale, they could even use JSA as there gonna be seen in Legends of Tomorrow season 2, the end result would be Supergirl's Earth at the merges with our world. Between now and season 3 need to read the flashpoint graphic novel again and the animated movie. There is a twist of who the joker is in the alternate timeline
