US TV Shows - Discussion (Inc New Shows/Cancellations)

Rumours are that the new Star Trek series will set before Star Trek: The Next Generation, it will be set after Star Trek 6: The Undiscovered Country will be in the same universe as the other Star Trek shows not the JJ Abrams Star Trek universe. It's also being said the show will be seasonal anthology meaning each season could be set in a different time period.

orphan black season 4 ep1 took huge gamble by going back before season1 ep1 where beth kills herself by jumping in front of train in front of sarah (shows lead clone). it is worth watching season1 again before this ep to remind yourself to who the characters are. orphan black is in my top 10 tv shows.

having finally caught with 12monkeys v series. I found this thread in which back in 2011 I suggested a 12 monkeys tv series, someone suggested an expendables tv series and rush hour. http://www.babeshows.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=39167 and have we them with some varying degrees of success. legion became dominion, cw are planning a Friday 13th series.

I recommend watching slasher, a horror anthology series, the first season is based on the seven deadly sins and the punishment for each sin. the last episode reveals who the killer is. it is like Halloween meets se7en.

Stana Katic (beckett) is leaving castle, the reason given is finances.

Reading some of the info about Castle, it seems they have been in talks with Nathan for a while, but not Stana, then both her and Tamala Jones (Lanie) were informed they wouldn't be returning. Castle without Nathan would be stupid, seeing as well, you know, he's Castle, but it'll be odd without Stana, maybe to the point of it losing the magic that made the show a success.
I've watched every episode multiple times (aside from one, the one with the dopey cunt trying to sound Geordie, but sounding like an Irish/Scottish/Welsh/Traveller...it was offensive), so I'm not sure it'll work. In reality, they should have given them a happy ending and finished the show.

Edit: The rumour mill is in full swing, with some 'sources' saying that Nathan and Stana don't like each other, so much so that they were sent to counselling. It's a shame if that's true, but a valid reason for changing things up.

I will still watch though, as I'm a fan of anything Nathan Fillion does
