I'm surprised that no one has mentioned the new Chloe Ayling kidnapping documentary series: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m002gjg4

My pre-existing signature had disappeared, when I logged back in for the first time this year?! Yet more confirmation for my having near-enough given up on this place.. *

I'm back in my original seducedx6 account on Twitter('x'), alongside my compadres in 3 the hard way tag team, midriffique_one and airbag_generate.

This post seems to be more pertinent...

*There's a Twitter thread for that...

Churchill's Bid to Abolish Britain
A histrionic title given the limited time of events concerned, and it being someone else's idea. In June 1940, after Churchill followed up the Dunkirk evacuation by sending more British troops to N France, he accepted a plan to save France from imminent doom by merging the two countries. However the French overruled their own idea, and chose to put faith in terms with Germany instead. This was a fateful decision in multiple ways, leading the UK to turn toward the US from then on, and also for greater European integration after the war.

Political Thinking with Nick Robinson - Friedrich Merz
A chat at the German Embassy. Nick makes great play that Merz is the first German Chancellor in 80 years to Make Germany Militarised Again, but less interest in Merz' family background.

The Bottom Line
Steve Clemons talks first to a Republican strategist and a Democrat strategist to compare their views on how the US is handling the Gaza crisis; then later to Daniel Levy, who was more forthright on the same topic.
