That’s an extraordinary article.

It starts by asking a perfectly legitimate question about whether or not it’s possible to become addicted to babeshows.

It then makes a series of fairly facile arguments about how it isn’t.

And it concludes by suggesting that you’re not addicted, you’re just obsessed … so why not indulge your obsession by becoming a VIP?

It’s a bit like a casino suggesting that you’re not really addicted to gambling, you just love having a good time. Here’s a complimentary sandwich … now get back on the slot machines!

Not really having a good time, the obsession is people thinking they may win their money back. The casino likes to make you feel better so free food can have very profound effects on the brain, and it keeps people spending, and of course - far more importantly - keeps people losing money. After all, its losers that make any casino owner a winner.

Everyone has to remember that these channel and channel babes are only here for everyone else's money and if a babe shows starts in getting less calls or cams then the channel won't hesitate in moving the babe along or giving them crap shifts as they know there probably another 10 babes out there who will be just as naughty as they are naive as the last babe. But these channels also forget that without punters/customers then they wouldn't exist. As we are on this subject what do everyone think about buying stuff from or for these channel babes. We get called freeloaders and lurkers but yet we all splash out in gifts or might buy a custom video or be lucky even to win one or a person might buy stuff from babes themselves. Yet fans might not get these contents which might put a strain on how this customer see these channel babes.im asking this as I've seen babes opening packages when doing there shifts and I know they thank fans for sending in gifts but you never really seen them wear whatever has been sent to them.

Oxytocin, dopamine and celebrity worship syndrome all play a part in the psychology of punters spending.

Illogically spending thousands every week on TV babes, and putting themselves in debt, instead of paying for strippers and escorts.

Good evening is it just me or has anyone else got bored and tired of having to pay each month to watch s66 online don't get me wrong I understand that they are trying to keep everything in house nowadays and the babes can do there home cam shows from wherever they are but I feel now that anything descent happens now behind the premium wall now I could wrong as well

Due to the popularity of vibetoys, all the channels know there are punters more than willing to spend tens of thousands every month.

So now their focus is less on punters watching for free all day, demanding babes do stuff in the chatbox and only calling on payday.

Now they want every punter to be a VIP member, pay for privates/pervcam and buzz as much as possible every time they log on.

Tiny you're a beacon of majority common sense opinion I've always thought. Sympathetic to babe and punter in an admirably balanced fashion. But consistently willing to speak truth where needed.

In this instance you again see and state the central bugbear about the new 66 system. You do so as keenly as you have with much that which has gone before.

The simple fact is, as a company, once you demand any form of regular payment for simple ACCESS to anything, justification has to be made for the loyalty you're requiring your customers to show and continue to show in paying that fee. In asking for a sub, you set yourself up as offering services and/or products above the general standard offered elsewhere. Justification for the ask can only come in the sense of vfm on offer once inside; vfm informed by the quality, variety and scope of the services/products available (exclusivity of content is usually a big factor*) and the way in which your people represent your business in customer facing interactions. If these things are lacking the customer is going to get disgruntled and eventually walk away.

I mean, no one would pay for Amazon Prime if the standards it presented out of the box were the same common standards of retailers that have no compulsory fee for use. Iow, your shit has to be together - on top of the competition's - visibly, palpably better than the product/services presented for free elsewhere.

66 talk the talk on the above; but fail to walk the walk as yet. Whether they even plan to up their game sufficiently is still open to question at this point (bits of extra website functionality and promising design are not sufficient by themselves). My concern is that they may be saying to themselves 'It's no biggee, guys are still getting to USE their credits once inside anyway' but this would be putting entirely the wrong emphasis on it if so. What's most important to those doing the paying is not the value of the credits as such but more that they're being required to stump up with a consistent regularity just to get inside.** Increased expectation (of both free and paid content/services) comes in return for that demand of regular use and loyalty. (If Prime gave the user their sub money as a voucher to buy on a few movie streams each month their members wouldn't suddenly not expect the exceptional standards of quality, reliability, efficiency and competency from the rest of their operation. The increased expectations would remain the same.) The experience will always be judged against the billing inherent a subscription based model.

The psychology of that initial spend, under the circumstances 66 have introduced it, is certainly something completely new to the babeshows. And I'm not convinced 66 actually grasp how different they've made things feel for a lot of guys with this innovation. Hopefully I'm wrong or they come to understand it quickly. Maybe then we can see them act to that knowledge?

* Babes uploading pre-recorded content from their OF's to their new 66 profile page is therefore neither the best look for OF or for 66!
** As Ryuken states, many babes take this even further and demand the viewer show his worthiness in multiple criteria of fealty once on the streams.

The idea that the babeshows "are not that deep" is driven by those that don't wish to acknowledge how much effective customer service and a consideration of psychology impacts users' future interactions.
