You could be right, making that much having never won a major tournament is quite an achievement. I must also take into consideration his sponsorship deal with Kleenex would have netted a few quid, especially the amount he must've used crying himself to sleep after losing another long, drawn out, 5 set, semi-final at wimbledon :-)
I know what you're getting at, but to be fair, to reach the semi-final, he has to do better than 124 other blokes, which isn't as easy as you might think Cool

Because he spent about 8 years ranked in the world's top 10, which is quite an achievement, and he did win 11 tournaments even if you don't rank them as major and was runner up in another 17 tournaments.
