Both these countries have a long history of trafficking drugs to the US border killing hundreds of thousands of children & Adults with previous administrations turning a blind eye and opening up its border for a free for all! Trump shut that border, He also is sending illegal's back and now under the auspicies of an 'outstanding warrant' captured a known narco dictator sending a clear message 'clean up your act'

I wonder if it is going to be too damn late bloody impeach him.

They went into the capital of a hostile country, abducted one of the most heavily guarded presidents in the world, and didn't take a single casualty.
Doors were opened for them. Maduro's entire administration is still in power, and will be as long as they keep bribing Trump with oil.
The opposition leader (the one who stole Trumps Nobel Peace Prize, remember), who could make a real difference in Venezuela, won't be allowed anywhere near power.
Trump will see to that.

The pardon of Hernández is the more interesting aspect of your post. The US over many years is complicit in its dealings with Narco states and that requires no real amplification and I'll leave that thought with three letters CIA The issue of a pardon to heads of state often is contingent upon backdoor deals under the guise of national security and neither you or I can verify this however, Heads of state are imperfect beings and their decision making will always invite scrutiny! The likes of Biden issuing pardons to key personnel using a 'auto-pen' for known and well documented crimes requires deeper attention I would say.
