Yeah but that's common sense Boomer which is obviously not allowed WinkTongue.

Ironic with the weather set fair this round with no game.Sadannoyed
^ All the more reason to retain bonus points - despite what Butch says (he is often wrong) I would actually allow teams to take any bonus points they prevent their opposition from accruing to further narrow the gap

The Pears racked up a formidable score of 618-7 dec against Kent, At 393-7 you don't want to see Jason Holder & ex Yorkshire allrounder Matthew Waite help themselves to a hundred apiece.

A strange innings by Glamorgan against Sussex, from 41-4 Carlson 148 & Ingram 170 lifted them to 356, & they declared on 411-9

A draw played out at Kent in what - it has to be said - was a bit of a damp squib of a match. It did look at one point that Kent could force a win with three early, but again DBD and this time Finch blunted the Worcs attack for long enough!

Elsewhere, Glamorgan had a bit of a stroll against Sussex, Notts had an easy time against Lancashire who seem to have a ton of problems, while Surrey keep on keeping on! The other matches drawn

Lancashire finally got on the CC scoreboard with a win, but remain bottom. Looks like the title will be a 3 horse race.

Hampshire dished out a right old tonking of the defending champions.
They skittled Surrey for just 127 in first innings and then racked up 608/6 before bowling Surrey out again for 203 to claim a win by an innings and 278 runs.

Poor old Worcestershire will hope to get salvation from continuing bad weather against Nottinghamshire. The Pears got rolled out for just 80 before Notts piled up 234/3 yesterday.
No play today though and only one day left in the game.

Essex turned out to be the only day four winners in the latest round of matches trouncing Kent by an innings and 96 runs.

All the other matches were drawn in both divisions with the nearest to a result coming at Northampton where Yorkshire came within two wickets of clinching victory only for the home side to hold on for a draw.
