RIP Steve McMichael

Steve 'Mongo' McMichael died yesterday aged 67 after a battle with ALS.
The NFL Hall Of Famer had a 15 year pro career most notably with the Chicago Bears, he was part of an All Star defence which won Super Bowl XX.
Know for his tough playing style, he finished with 95 sacks. His larger than life crazy personality lent itself to move into wrestling after football, which including commentary.

(ALS is the most common form of MND.)

That famous 1985 Chicago Bears defence became known as "The Monsters Of The Midway" & it made a then 8yr old Rammyrascal a Chicago Bears fan and I'm celebrating 40yrs as a Bears fan this year. Did shed a tear when Steve's passing was announced as he was a big part of my childhood both for NFL & Wrestling.
